Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Hair Glow-Up-byfranny.  By booking an appointment or receiving any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.  Please read them carefully before proceeding.  

 

Appointments and Cancelllations

Booking:  Appointments must be booked in advance, either online, by phone, or in person.

Deposit:  A non-refundable deposit of 10% may be required to secure your appointment.

Cancellations:  At least 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule.  No shows or late  cancellations will forfeit the deposit or may incur a cancellation fee.

Late Arrivals:  Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule and may be charged a late or missed appointment fee.

 

Services

All services are performed by qualified stylist.  You must disclose any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to your appointment.

We aim for satisfaction but results may vary based on hair type, condition, and history.

Corrective Services: Must be scheduled within 7 days of the original appointment.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of salon services, no refunds will be issued for completed services.  If you are dissatisfied, please contact us within 48 hours to discuss adjustments or corrections.

Health and Safety 

If you are unwell (e.g., cold, flu, covid-19 symptoms), please reschedule your appointment.

Children under the age of 12 must be supervised at all times.

For your safety and comfort, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone displaying inappropriate behavior or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

 

Liability Waiver

By receiving services, you acknowledge and accept the following:

You are aware of and accept all potential risks involved in chemical treatments (e.g., coloring, relaxing)

You release Hair-glow-upbyfranny from any liability for allergic reactions, hair damage, or dissatisfaction with results due to unclear expectations, undisclosed information, or hair history.

You agree that any adverse reactions will be at your own risk and expense.

Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items brought into the salon, including clothing, phones, or accessories.

Photography and Social Media

With your permission, photos may be taken before and after services for promotional purposes on our website or social media platforms.  No identifying personal information will be disclosed without consent.

 

Governing Law

Theses Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state /province of New York State/Queens County, and any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with those laws.
